What are the properties of FFKM?

FFKM (Perfluoroelastomer) seals are distinguished by their excellent chemical resistance and suitability for extreme temperatures ranging from -25 °C to 325 °C. They offer exceptional resistance to a variety of chemicals, including mineral oils, fuels, amines, and moderate acids. FFKM is ideal for demanding applications in industry where high resistance and durability are required.

Physical and Chemical Properties
Physical Very good aging resistance, highest pressure and temperature resistance among elastomers, vacuum compatible
Chemical Resistant to mineral oils, fats and waxes, motor oils, fuels, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, amines, hydraulic fluids, essential oils, moderate and low concentrated acids. Not resistant to concentrated acids (e.g. nitric acid, formic acid), concentrated oxidizing media (e.g.: peracetic acid)
