These sight glass plates are made of pure SiO2 and are particularly suitable for applications with high thermal and chemical stress, such as in precision optics, laser, and electronics industry. They can withstand temperatures of up to 1000 °C permanently and up to 1200 °C for short periods of time, offering the highest chemical resistance.
Product specification: Circular sight glass plates, longitudinal sight glass plates, sight glass rings / tubes
Material: synthetic quartz glass
Optical properties as well as further information about the glass can be found in our info datasheet
Flame-melted synthetic quartz glass sight glasses are required wherever very high thermal and chemical stress must be ensured for the visual inspection of processes in containers.
Synthetic quartz glass consists of ≥99.9995% SiO2 and is therefore excellent for precision optics, lasers, lithography, and electronics. It features above-average chemical resistance and is ideal for high-temperature applications.
Through production and quality checks in the process flow, the property values of the glasses and the narrow dimensional tolerances are guaranteed. With these excellent properties, these sight glasses are suitable for extreme conditions.
