Product information
The ACI flow sight glass type 551 is a robust sight glass for industrial applications. The body is made from high-quality stainless steel casting 1.4408, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. The design features internal threads BSP or NPT and allows for visual monitoring of media in pipelines under operating pressure.
Type 551 is manufactured in accordance with DIN 11869 (formerly DIN 3237).
Thread connections:
- BSP threads according to DIN EN ISO 228-1
- NPT threads according to ANSI B 1.20.1
Gasket system:
Sealing is done using proven flat gaskets from leading manufacturers, among others:
- Frenzelit novaphit MST-XP
- KlingerSil C4400
- PTFE
- FKM
For increased thermal loads, the sight glass panes can be equipped with the following protective layers:
- Mica protective disc
