Tubular sight glass type 650 – Robust 360° visibility with maximum durability
The tubular sight glass type 650 is available in various connection options:
360° visibility & material quality
Thanks to its chemically highly resistant borosilicate glass cylinder (borosilicate glass 3.3), the type 650 enables safe 360° visibility in pipelines. The glass used is resistant to thermal and chemical stresses and is ideal for demanding media.
Safe sealing & mechanical stability
The following sealing materials are used for sealing:
Other materials are available upon request.
The design prevents incorrect assembly through the use of stud bolts with flange stop, which also increases the break resistance. A predefined pre-compression of the gasket on the glass cylinder ensures uniform sealing. Additionally, self-locking nuts are used to ensure lasting preload and high operational safety.
Standardly with impact protection sleeve
To protect the glass tube, the type 650 is essentially equipped with an impact protection sleeve made of polycarbonate or a perforated sheet. This reliably protects the sight glass from damage and sustainably increases the service life of the fitting.
