The ACI valve liquid level indicator type 461 consists of two valves that are connected by a borosilicate glass tube.
It is designed for external mounting on a tank and reliably indicates the liquid level inside the container according to the principle of communicating tubes.
Type 461 is available in freely selectable lengths and is exclusively supplied with threaded connections. The maximum center distance between the valve axes is 1500 mm.
A packing seal made of NBR inside the valves ensures a secure seal. In case of contamination or damage, the valve liquid level indicator can be safely separated and emptied from the container via the integrated shut-off valves at the connection points.
Due to the sensitive glass tube, type 461 is delivered unassembled. When assembling — especially with flange connections — care must be taken to ensure that the connections are aligned precisely and not twisted against each other to guarantee a stress-free installation of the glass tube.
To protect the glass tube from mechanical impacts during operation, an impact protection tube made of Plexiglas® is optionally available.
