Top dirt trap filters, also known as sieve basket filters, can be found in many technical areas of industry, petrochemistry, power plant, and plant construction. To increase the safety and longevity of your fittings and plant components, it is essential to carry out filtration for certain media. Various mesh sizes of the filters can remove impurities such as sand, gravel, or other particles from the process medium. With the help of our sieve basket filter with sieve baskets made of stainless steel, particles from liquid media, gaseous media, and solid-containing media can be filtered. The sizing of the filter mesh will be determined according to customer requirements and filtration needs. Furthermore, our dirt traps are very maintenance-friendly and allow for easy cleaning of the filter insert. To easily and quickly change the filter unit of the dirt traps, the filter of our sieve basket filters can be accessed via the blind flange mounted on the housing.

We offer top dirt traps and sieve basket filters to you as a welded construction made of high-quality stainless steel (e.g., 1.4571) or for lower demands also made of heat-resistant pressure vessel steels such as P265GH (1.0425). Another technical advantage of our welded construction is the low dead weight and compact design, as well as a high corrosion resistance of our stainless steel version.

We offer our top dirt traps in various nominal diameters from DN50 to DN600.
Larger nominal diameters are also possible upon request. For smaller nominal diameters, we recommend the use of Y dirt traps.

To integrate the fitting accordingly into your system, we have the possibility to deliver it with flange connection according to DIN EN 1092-1 or ANSI. Of course, there is also the possibility to deliver sieve basket filters with welded ends.

Top dirt traps are available from us in nominal pressure levels PN2.5, PN6, PN10, PN16, PN40 to PN63. In addition to standard versions, we also offer optional technical additional equipment for our dirt traps upon request.
