Borosilicate glass according to DIN 7080 or based on DIN 7080 can be used up to a temperature of 280 °C and briefly up to 300 °C. When using ACI Mica discs, a temperature of 320 °C can even be achieved. In general, borosilicate glass is suitable for pressure applications, and the pressure resistance increases depending on the material thickness in relation to the outer diameter and free view diameter.
